An Established Adult Day Care
We offer engaging programs for people with
disabilities and the elderly.
Supporting the Daily Needs for Care of Adults
The Center for Active Aging provides an array of structured and comprehensive programs and services. These help boost independence, community engagement, and the quality of life of adults with disabilities as well as children and the elderly in Deerfield Beach, FL and northern Broward County.
In 1981, the City of Deerfield Beach, FL and the Aging and Disability Resource Center of Broward County partnered to develop the Center for Active Aging, which was called Northeast Focal Point.
In the past decades, the Center for Active Aging has considerably expanded. We now operate and administer our Alzheimer’s and Multicultural Day Care Center and the Preschool. By combining compassion with unparalleled service, the Center for Active Aging continues to grow while remaining a place “Where Life Happens” for the members of our community.
The Center for Active Aging is financed through a combination of federal and state-administered grants, fees for services, and fundraisers. We also receive monetary support from the Aging and Disability Resource Center, N.E. Focal Point CASA*, Inc. (Children’s, Alzheimer’s, Senior, and Adult Services), and the City of Deerfield Beach General Fund.
The services that we provide are invaluable to the community. To keep on what we’re doing, we need eager people to offer some much-needed assistance. The Center for Active Aging welcomes all donations and encourages you to volunteer for our cause.
